ChicKen ScRatch Studio is a creative graphic design studio with fresh and new ideas on how to brand, grow and build your business. I love art and everything is a canvas to me. My mind never stops creating or coming up with ways to make things just a bit... "me-er". That is what I do for my clients too. I take their concepts and ideas and personalize everything about them until the entire package exudes everything that they envisioned or could have possibly wanted for their business. Ok, now that you read a brief paragraph on what I do, let me go on ahead and make something clear.... the "us" that you will find everywhere is referring to just me, unless you count the parrot on my shoulder of course. I find that when you say just "me", it sounds all lonely and pathetic. So this business is ran by just yours truly, Laura (Jane) Craig, CEO, Graphic design extraordinaire. I also find that I say "us" and "we" a lot out of habit. I have no clue as to why really. I have always ran this business by myself. I have always ran it with a baby and/or toddler in my lap though so maybe it is a partnership afterall?

And now this... unless it's Wednesday, it isn't business time around here. Oh wait... don't go there. I mean, ok look... I'm professional in what I do, but not in the fact that I run a tight ship and wear business suits and all that stuff. Nah uh. Look, it's laid back. It's always casual Friday around here. Aaaaand.... art is my PASSION. It is my love. It is the wind beneath my wings. It had me at hello. You, my dear, had me at hello. Have you heard about the newest Facebook change? I know, dude.... there's like a new one every week it seems, but I am talking about the new timeline FOR BUSINESS PAGES!!! I am so excited that Facebook has FINALLY gotten this much needed change completed and ready for us to connect with our peeps in a more eye-appealing way! So check it, you now have the option to actually have a super cool cover picture at the top just like personal accounts too. The longer profile pic is now obsolete and the awesome Facebook landing pages (via an app) are just the ONLY place you get to customize your page now. You can still have the landing/welcome page, but it will now be through an apps icon on your page. It's still a GREAT way to get info across to your fans since you are not allowed to actually do any sort of advertising in your new cover pic graphic. Here's the deal though, it's much larger, much nicer and way easier to connect your fans to your brand, your look and your energy! As soon as I saw the new feature at the end of February, I immediately designed my cover pic. I've had 2 now, but whatevs, who's counting?
ANYWAY, totally do it! Make the switch early. Learn the layout, customize and make yours unique! Can't do it on your own? You are IN LUCK!!! I'll hook you up.
